About Broxy 100mg Capsule
It is used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchial asthma and bronchitis. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic progressive inflammatory lung disease caused by long-term exposure to irritating gases or cigarette smoking, which results in obstructed airflow from lungs. It is characterized by difficulty in breathing, cough, mucus (sputum) production and wheezing.

Acebrophylline is used in the treatment and prevention of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Medicinal Benefits of Broxy 100mg Capsule
Acebrophylline is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and also thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to breathe.
Directions for Use
Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, weight and body condition. Continue to take this medicine, as long as your doctor tells you to do so, to obtain better results.

If you are allergic to Acebrophylline or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Acebrophylline is not recommended for children below 14 years of age. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking Acebrophylline as it may cause low potassium levels in the blood.
